Like a thread which by itself can easily fray or break, when bound up with other threads becomes a strong cord which can bear great loads, so too when we live for ourselves alone, especially at the expense of others, our lives can easily fray, break or unravel. In our prayer life today let us reflect that when we bind ourselves in fellowship, friendship, love with others, and with our Lord in trusting faith, we gain a strength which can move mountains.
