As some in our nation descend beyond partisan politics into acts of violent intimidation, people of faith need to do more than pray. In our prayer life today let us remind ourselves that our Lord calls us to actively be peace makers (be doers of the Word and not hearers only) and let us seek the courage to not be silent in the face of those forces which strip our country of its humanity.
