INTENTION FOR TODAY (October 3): When we read sacred scripture we have a window into the mind and will of our Lord. In our prayer life today let us reflect that we are also afforded a mirror in whose reflection we can glimpse, for good or for ill, our own inner self and a yardstick, albeit a disconcerting one, for our thoughts, words, and deeds.
